River House

The 2-story addition is designed to off-set the geometry of the old farm house. Adding a large open kitchen, family room, and new and renovated master suite provided spaces for large family gatherings and a place to retreat to private quarters. Keeping similar materials on the exterior helped to tie in the new to the existing. Carrying the brick base around the addition helped tie in the new with the existing house.
