Diana Kuo is the principal and owner at Kuo Architectural Design, a residential planning and design firm serving the DC metropolitan area.

Diana studied Environmental Design and Architecture at Cornell University and Parsons School of Design in N.Y.C. and Paris. Diana practiced with firms in New York City, Washington, DC., and Northern Virginia before starting her own practice working with local builders, serving homeowners for over 25 years.

In NYC, she practiced on both large corporate projects with KPFC and smaller projects with a residential and small commercial design firm in Soho.

Once moving to Old Town Alexandria, Diana practiced with Holland Architectural Associates and Daniel Lee Architect, two small architectural firms specializing in custom residential projects, honing her skills and interest in serving clients with their new house designs, additions, and renovations. Diana also contracted with Lawson, Carter, Epstein landscape architects adding hardscape planning and garden structures design to enhance spaces surrounding the home.

Diana has a hands-on approach working with the clients throughout the home and property improvement process: zoning feasibility study, design development, contract bids, construction documentation, procuring building permits, and construction consultation.
